I don't know how well I knew her. [He liked her a lot, but he never learned a lot about her.] But I know that. . . it seemed like it was easy for her to be kind to people. She told me she planned to use her diamond to help Kano-san, too, even though she didn't really know him. And when my roommate died, she invited me to a sleepover. She was always encouraging me, too. It seemed like she just did those things - she never wondered if it was okay, or if people would think she was weird.

He was pretty annoying. [ thanks, zuko. ] but also wise and kind. I remember the way he stuck up for Kano, and he cared about a lot of people.... tried to help people, even those who could be dangerous. That creature... on the loose, in space... he wanted to help it, too. Without knowing anything about it.
