I'm not sure its going to be a week, Shigeo. All they said that it will take as long as it takes for us to gather this nova thing they keep referring to.
Well, its good we're finding this out now rather than later. Apparently, novas are tied to memories, and those memories make our worlds exist. If there aren't enough, then the memories disappear, and our worlds shatter to bits.
Yes, but apparently no one can tell us what they look like, and they're fostering some kind of competition amongst us to see which team can get the most.
[Which is. A little messed up if the universe's fate is at stake??]
Seems strange that they'd think we wouldn't be motivated enough, though. Like even if you didn't care, I'm sure people wouldn't want to stay here for good.
For one thing, what these "novas" look like. If we're to collect them, why would've they tell us what to look out for? When I asked, they couldn't give me an adequate answer.

[Sigh.]
I feel better knowing everyone at home will be fine, but. . .

[Is that what they told the kid?]
[He doesn't know if he wants to just pop his bubble like that.]
...Which one of them told you that?
no subject
[He just asked bad questions.]
no subject
[He just closes his eye for a moment.]
You are aware what we have to do, right? Did Rabbit tell you that?
no subject
[But like, what does any of that mean? He didn't bother to find out!]

Ah. I forgot to ask about that.

[You're doing god's work, Hansa. Which is appropriate.]
We'd better find them, then.

[But he's pretty motivated by his world not being destroyed already?]

[He does know that, actually. Even though he tends to prefer to trust things.]
I know that sometimes people can be cruel, and that they lie. But I don't see any reason to think that about Rabbit and the others.
no subject
That may be true. Those people may be very good people. But...maybe they're being misled by someone else. You can't rule that out.
no subject
[He knows he's not wrong.]
Do you think that's what's happening?
no subject
[He cocks his head to the side.]
Its very suspicious, to not have all the answers.
