This didn't come directly from one of the leaders, but the person who spoke to me about it heard it from Viridian-san first, and later confirmed it with their leader. Everyone I've talked to here is a kind person. It's been hard to believe anyone would hurt someone else for such selfish reasons. But maybe. . . maybe they felt like they had to do this?
I had the support of my friends. [A hint of fondness, as sad and exhausted as she otherwise feels.] If I had been alone... I don't think I would have gotten through it.
