[I fought back the incredible urge to make a terrible joke about the cat.
Since Mob seems lost in thought, Raven actually wanders into the kitchen when he first spots him, and emerges a few minutes later with a mug of hot chocolate, which he holds out to Mob as he sits next to him.]
[When I asked you for a Sunday PC I didn't expect. . . this. Nonetheless, later that day, Mob can run into Raven in the dining room, lobby, or just the hallway upstairs.]
I always planned to use it for this, no matter who it was. The way these executions are set up are so cruel. Last week, Viridian-san had to be hurt, and Yona-san had to hurt him. But this week, I thought I could do something to help.
I didn't expect him to attack Ruler-san. But it's something I should have considered he might do. I never. . . I would never have wanted her to get hurt because of a decision I made.
I can't say I expected it but I'm also not really that surprised he did. That kid... He was clearly hurtin' more than he let any of us know. People who've been hurt... can be a lot more willing to bite back and hurt others ta survive.
[SIGHS.]
Yer instinct ain't wrong, but maybe run yer idea by someone you trust next time, before ya do it?
[That is. . . really good advice, so he looks up at him, relieved, and nods.]
I will! You're right - I've only recently started learning how to understand others. So even if I want to be able to make decisions on my own, I should still ask for advice.
[He's so glad Mob is a receptive child unlike some other, more stubborn children.]
Right. That's what us adults're here for, after all. Even if we make mistakes ourselves sometimes too. [Like everyone forgetting to check Kano's shoes for knives....]
There's lots of types of heroes, Mob! You've got yer brave and gallant knightly types, sure, but there's also the cool, mysterious guy, who swoops in at the last minute! He doesn't have ta be brave, he's just gotta have good timing.
[Raven is probably being forced to have a sit down and rest for a bit after trial, but if Mob comes into the inn lobby, he'll be flagged down by this idiot.]
Hey, kiddo, y'wanna keep this old man company fer a while? [Come pop a squat.]

Long day, huh?
no subject
Mm. A lot happened.
no subject
You kept it together pretty well.
[Given how incredibly stressed you clearly were.]
no subject
[He slightly misunderstands, but it still works, so he nods.]
I was angry last night, but I didn't become so angry when I knew it was Viridian-san.

[Looking him over a moment, before attempting to pet the cat.]
To be honest I can't even imagine you gettin' mad but I suppose I don't know ya that well yet.
no subject
[Yeah, he doesn't know him that well yet, does he?]
I get nervous when there are a lot of people around.
no subject
That's pretty normal at your age, I think. You said what ya needed to say despite that, though, which makes ya pretty brave.
[It reminds him of Karol a bit. Maybe that's why he wants to help the kid out so much.]
no subject
[That pleases him? A lot?]
no subject
[He remembers Mob's Goal.]
no subject
They like that?
no subject
The ones worth spending yer time on, sure.
no subject
[He sounds skeptical. Ouch???]
Siz I'm crying
Wh-Course I do! Old Raven's got fans the world over!

The girl I like is a teenager.

[There's some sort of logic here... maybe?]
no subject
[Well, that makes perfect sense.]
. . . I'm trying to become more brave, too. As well as getting muscles. I want to get the confidence to confess my feelings.
no subject
[Like... step one.... it's the most important step in some ways.]
What'll ya do if she says no?

Well, when you're not working at self-improvement, what's a kid like you get up to?

Manga?

I'm guessing you've already been scolded?
[Please say yes he doesn't want to do it.]
no subject
[He considers that for a second.]
No. A few people got angry with me, but they didn't say anything.
[And that was definitely the most bewildering part of it. Several people he's looked up to very much simply - getting angry and walking away.]
Please. You should say what you feel.
no subject
Well. I guess I wanna hear what exactly yer thought process was first?
no subject
[He'll sit down, too.]

But I also didn't want Kano-san to hurt, either.

At trial, you asked people to vote for you.

[WELL.]
I just wanted ta present it as an option, a last resort sorta situation.

I thought being brave wasn't part of your appeal?

I see. So older women like cool mysterious guys.
no subject
Hm... more or less, yeah! That's what works fer old Raven.
week 7 post trial!!
Hey, kiddo, y'wanna keep this old man company fer a while?
[Come pop a squat.]
Re: week 7 post trial!!
Hello, Raven-san. Are you feeling all right?
no subject
[Why does he tell these lies.]
But hey! We oughta get ta go home soon, don't ya think?
no subject
[That final message was. . . ominous.]
no subject
If ya ask me, nothing good comes of worryin' at this point. We may as well hope fer the best.
no subject
[He's thinking a little.]
Are you okay? I always get tired, too, when I use too much power.
