[After trial, Mob can be found sitting on the steps in the lobby with his cat. He seems to be thinking pretty hard about whatever happened today.]

[I fought back the incredible urge to make a terrible joke about the cat.

Since Mob seems lost in thought, Raven actually wanders into the kitchen when he first spots him, and emerges a few minutes later with a mug of hot chocolate, which he holds out to Mob as he sits next to him.]

Long day, huh?

[Hot chocolate! Wow! He takes it with some surprise, and blows on it before taking a sip.]

Mm. A lot happened.

[laid]

[Good boys deserve hot chocolaty milk.]

You kept it together pretty well.
[Given how incredibly stressed you clearly were.]

[exercisms]

Kept it together. . . ?

[He slightly misunderstands, but it still works, so he nods.]

I was angry last night, but I didn't become so angry when I knew it was Viridian-san.

[laid]

I meant more that ya seemed nervous but still said what you needed ta say.

[Looking him over a moment, before attempting to pet the cat.]

To be honest I can't even imagine you gettin' mad but I suppose I don't know ya that well yet.

[exercisms]

Oh.

[Yeah, he doesn't know him that well yet, does he?]

I get nervous when there are a lot of people around.

[laid]

[Ah, that tracks.]

That's pretty normal at your age, I think. You said what ya needed to say despite that, though, which makes ya pretty brave.

[It reminds him of Karol a bit. Maybe that's why he wants to help the kid out so much.]

Brave?

[That pleases him? A lot?]

[laid]

Yeah! Stuff like that's gonna get you a lot more attention from girls than any muscles, you know.

[He remembers Mob's Goal.]

[exercisms]

[It's sad but this line of compliments really works on him.]

They like that?

[laid]

[Hey whatever works.]

The ones worth spending yer time on, sure.

[exercisms]

Mm. . . Raven-san, do you really know a lot about girls, though?

[He sounds skeptical. Ouch???]

[laid]

[Yeah, even Raven's caught off guard by that.]

Wh-Course I do! Old Raven's got fans the world over!

[exercisms]

But the girls here all said you were creepy.

[laid]

Yeah, all the teenagers. I ain't interested in kids. Only a mature lady is gonna fall for old Raven's charms!

[exercisms]

[Well, that makes sense. Maybe? Maybe.]

The girl I like is a teenager.

[laid]

And a nice young lady will like it if yer brave! That's not part of Old Raven's appeal. That's why it's different.

[There's some sort of logic here... maybe?]

[exercisms]

Oh.

[Well, that makes perfect sense.]

. . . I'm trying to become more brave, too. As well as getting muscles. I want to get the confidence to confess my feelings.

[laid]

That's a good step to aim towards, I'd say.
[Like... step one.... it's the most important step in some ways.]

What'll ya do if she says no?

Uh. I don't know.

[laid]

[Well... at least he isn't freaking out at the thought of it? Anyway.]

Well, when you're not working at self-improvement, what's a kid like you get up to?

I go to school, and I go to my job, and I read manga sometimes.

[laid]

[Well, kids having jobs seems normal to him.]
