Most of the time. Sometimes there's one that's more powerful, and it takes more effort. Usually fighting them until they're weaker. Once, I sent my consciousness into the person who was possessed to drive them out.
Makes sense, the stronger ones always need more effort. But what are you doing, exactly, when you point at something? Are you sending your own power out at them?

I haven't met a kind before that can't be defeated with exorcism. Though my master sometimes uses other techniques. . . [But those do not work.]
