[ Once the trial is over and done with, Vezda spends some time seeking Mob out, because there's no way he's doing okay right now. (So he likes the kid, sue him.) ]
[He can find him out near the bridge, probably on his way back to the lobby. But - he looks. Okay? Well, a little troubled and lost in thought, but the blank emotionless he usually has hasn't gone anywhere.
[That's okay, Vezda. He is used to this quality in adults. He gives him sort of a flat look, but it's hard to read - whether he's actually annoyed or not.
Also, he has a little piece of blue ribbon sticking out of his pocket.]
I'm all right. Apparently there was some trouble with the leaders.
[Sometime after mini-event, just have. A boy on a mission. A mission to where? He isn't honestly sure, but there's an expression on his face like he's intensely focused on something incredibly important and has no time for anything else.
He's walking very deliberately out into the forest and ignoring anyone who tries to talk to him, so that's fun!
Since this takes place post mini-event, let's just say if anything happens, this is after everyone got back safe, he got any necessary first-aid, and took a nap back in his room.]
[ Well. He sure as hell has never seen Mob looking quite like this before. It's...weird.
Vezda tries to call out to him once or twice, but to no avail, which is even weirder. So here he is, tailing Mob out into the forest. Clearly the kid isn't in the talking mood--not just yet, anyway--so he's just gonna. Watch for now.
If anyone asks, it's not creepy stalking!! It's just. Safety measures. That's it. ]
[He seems very indifferent to whether or not Bucky is stalking him, anyway. He's just going to walk out to the barrier in the forest and start - who knows. Throwing rocks at it, and then just hitting it? He's hitting it pretty hard.]
[ Wow, uh. This is some very strange behavior. Vezda...doesn't really know what to do with this. He figures it's time to speak up, before Mob hurts himself against the barrier somehow. ]
[ Vezda's been hanging around the manor himself, out of sheer curiosity. So when he spots Mob, coming up to him is only natural. ]
Hey, uh--Shigeo.
[ He's been calling him 'kid' for weeks and he's not sure why, now. Maybe if he were like, five. But calling a teenager 'kid'? That's just weird.
ANYWAY, he doesn't mean to pop the bubble, but he doesn't have spatial awareness for the brim of his sick cowboy hat. So it ends up popping the bubble anyway. ]
If crunchyroll is killing you (it will make you watch like 10 ads), videos here and here for up to being thrown into a car, but I don’t have the third part on youtube.
Anyway, Mob comes home from school and finds out his house is on fire. He walks right into the burning building, and tries to convince himself it’ll be okay and his mom, dad, and brother are safe, but then he sees what looks like their corpses upstairs. He starts to completely lose control, but Dimple manages to convince him that the corpses are actually dummies planted by the real kidnapper.
Mob buys this, but still goes extremely over the top. He learns a new ability instantly to locate psychics, finds some, and starts kicking their ass unless they tell him about the power to create dummies.
Finally, some shady guys come and throw Mob in a car. He doesn’t resist, because these are some former enemies and he thinks they’re kidnapping him to where his family is. He learns though that they’re acting teaming up with Reigen and some of his friends to go into hiding. When he hears Reigen is there, he makes the car fly and speeds off to where they’re taking him.
He goes right to Reigen and stands there melting down while Dimple explains. Reigen seems to catch on that Dimple’s dummy idea was a lie to keep him from going berserk mode, but he repeats the lie really reassuringly and convincingly. Convinced his family is safe, Mob passes out in relief.]
[ In his seat, Vezda is leaning forward, arms on his knees, as hunched as he can possibly be without curling up into a ball. When he sees Mob enter, though, he straightens up with a grin. ]
Hey, kid.
...I don't know why I keep calling you kid. It's not like I'm that much older than you. I think.
